What happens if my vehicle is stolen?

If your vehicle has been stolen, report it to the police and your insurance company straight away. Let us know as soon as possible by:

To ensure your credit file isn’t impacted, you need to keep making your monthly payments while your insurance company is investigating the theft.

If the vehicle is found and returned to you, please ask your insurance company for a letter confirming what has happened and send us a copy to info@motonovofinance.com.

If the vehicle isn't found, you’ll need to settle your account with us, which you can do once you’ve had your insurance payout. It’s worth checking to see if you have gap insurance. This can help cover the difference if your insurance payout is less than the outstanding loan.
