What should I do if my vehicle is written off?

First, report it to your insurance company straight away and the police if needed. Then, let us know as soon as possible by:

To ensure that your credit file isn’t impacted, you need to continue making your monthly payments for your agreement until the claim is settled and keep us informed of any updates from your insurance company.. You'll also need to continue to make your monthly payments for any Settlement Shortfall Loan and/or a Value Added Products Loan until they are repaid in full. 

If the car is a write off, you’ll need to settle your account with us, which you can do when you’ve had your insurance payout. It’s worth checking to see if you have gap insurance. This can help cover the difference if your insurance payout is less than the outstanding loan.
